Dear guests,

Some of the dogs will look scary to tourists, especially when they have mange or come back from a street fight. Guests always inform the reception about these occasions. Very often the personel at the reception doesn't understand the problem or cannot fully comprehend the feelings of european tourists. So they falsly understand it as a complaint and because ot these misunderstandings again some animals get poisened.

Let us mention that the island of Koh Samui, the only region in Thailand, is practically rabies free, thanks to the work of the DRCS.

Please don't take any of the animals onto the hotel property. Not every guest is animal friendly, and this fact has to be considered.

In an actual case, so the hotel manager, one dog consistently searched for his "owner", after he left for home, howling and running around the hotel grounds.

Our work consists of saving the animals space on the beach without the fear of being hurt or even poisened, in cooperation with the hotel managment.

Please think carefully beforehand if a complaint is necessary and consider the possible consequences to the animals.
