We have recently created a homepage about the animals at Baan Samui resort www.Baansamui-Animalfriends.de and we take care, that all animals are vaccinated and provided for by a guest chain. This idea is greatly welcomed by the touristbranch.

We are certainly aware that some tourists might be afraid of the animals. It is therefore important for you to limit this fright and prejustice with controlled medical action. All the animals shall be castrated in order to stop further breeding.

In the past we had poisenings of animals on the island. These actions are condemned in Europe and with the animal protection agencies. Please consider in your own interest: The killings of these dogs are very bad for tourism and will result in lesser bookings at the hotels, as most tourists love animals. They are our friends and live with us in our homes.

Because of the great support we experienced we have decided to publish "animal friendlyness instead of poisenings" with the help of the DRCS on our homepage to give accsess to it to all hotels in Koh Samui.

Our homepage www.hotel-kosamui.com lists all animal friendly hotels in Koh Samui with a direct link to your own homepage and shows photos of all the animals. Please look at it as a expample of our concept. This is where your hotel could be listed soon.

Please send us a short description of your hotel with a photo, the direct link to you and photos of the animals on your beach. If you don't own a digital camera, the DRCS can take these photos when they vaccinate the animals.

This service is of no charge to you.

Please keep in mind, animalfriendly does not mean that the animals are allowed on your property or in the guest rooms, but that they have their natural habitat on the beach and are not poisened or maltreated in any form.

The medical provision (regular vaccinations and castration) will be done by the DRCS, after you join our action. This medical provision cost us money. We would very much appreciate if you could put up a donation box at your reception from the DRCS, or donate yourself directly to the DRCS, in order to guarantee this project in the future.

After accepting you on our homepage, you will receive flyers from the DRCS, so the guests can inform themselves if they have questions. They flyers should be put where all the guests can see them.

The DRCS is not directly linked to us but helps us locally, as a favour. As soon as you have been accepted in our list, you will receive a seal from us.

The seal marks you as an animal-friendly hotel on should be put on your homepage. With this you assure us that you will not treat these animals badly in any way. We have expressively mentioned that the animals do not belong to your hotel. Don't hesitate to support this advertisment tool for Koh Samui with your acceptance.
